Monday Munchies: Easy and Delicious Steak Dinner
I do my weekly grocery shopping on Sunday, but usually there are things on the list that are not available at just one store. Do you have this problem too?
I took my chances and altered my list so I could just run to our local Giant (it’s the closest to our house). I had not been there in a while and was surprised to see they are now selling grass-fed beef. They had ground beef and several cuts of steak. I couldn’t help myself and grabbed 2 steaks for dinner. If you aren’s sure why grass-fed beef is so cool click here.

Beef-it’s what’s for dinner.
Boy, did I make the right choice and didn’t have to run to that other store for what I wanted. The reason I am sharing this is because I hear so many of our members say they don’t like shopping there or it’s too crowded – well now ladies and gentlemen, go check our your local store.
Quick and Delicious Steak:
About 1 steak per person
Rub a thin coat of extra virgin olive oil all over the steak
Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder (to taste of course)
Directions:
1. Pre-heat your grill pan till hot.
2. Lay steak down for about 1 minute or until nice grill marks occur.
3. Flip it over.
4. Turn down the heat and cover with a lid or another pan to trap the heat.
5. Turn over after about 4 minutes and cook on the opposite side.
6. Make sure steak is cooked to your liking before serving.

Not a drop left!
As you can see, it was delicious. I made this for myself, turned my back and it was gone. Josef got a hold of it and enjoyed it too! We had a side salad to go along with the steak. Enjoy!

I’ve been having steak often lately….came back from the holidays with grass fed, pasture-raised beef directly from my dad’s Angus cattle farm. I prep it the same way, and cook it on the George Foreman grill for 3 or 4 minutes, depending on how thick the steak is.
